Ive used Zello off and on for a few years and its keeps getting better and better. I moderate a couple of veterans groups and we are located across the US from Cali to Maine and none of us have ever experienced any real connection or clarity issues.

- I found the Zello app a few years ago when I was trying to find a decent, user friendly Walkie Talkie App and Ive been using it ever since. It is a very good 2-way app that allows you to talk with friends whether they are across town or in another state. The audio quality has always impressed me and although I will occasionally have to re-boot the app, I would give the Zello app a strong #9 and highly recommend it if your looking for an easy to use 2-way walkie talkie app. Give it a try, you have nothing to lose and the app is free and youll find yourself using it more and more!

This app is better at what it does then any other app like it but it has a lot of bugs. And without any kind of embellishment at all I will say that every update that has "bug fixes" doesnt fix any bugs that anyone has a problem with. The big ones that have been around for a while have yet to be fixed. Not to mention every time they do a bug fix it causes roughly 3 to 5 more bugs. As of today the new bug is that it is cutting people off around 25 seconds into their key up. If you do end up getting this app just know that you will meet a lot of really cool people but you might not get to talk to them for long because the app wont let you.

The app doesnt stay connected to the server when minimized.

I do milsim, and I must say... this is a perfect app for communicating with other squads. Easy to use, effective, and gets the job done. Best part, its FREE!

Apple watch button doesnt work right instead of just a press and release it stays pressed. Also make audio go through watch. Whats the point of a watch app if u still gotta pull your phone out

Impossible to use on apple watch it doesnt record the audio off your watch like any other bluetooth device should.. Other than that the app work well for my work. All employees must use it.

BRING BACK ICON BADGES FOR INCOMING MESSAGES WHEN APP IS OPEN IN BACKGROUND. OR ALREADY GIVE US THE OPTION! Ive been using Zello since it came out, I love this app. Unfortunately with the recent update the talk button gets stuck. Even though on my end it shows Im ready to talk again, the person on the other end continues to hear me as if Im holding the button. In the app settings I have the talk button set to hold not toggle do i know its not that.

Have been using Zello Work app for over a year perfect app. They requested to update to Zello@work had some issues but there tech support was outstanding and fast in getting is back on. This is one of the best apps ever for Wilkie Talkie use I rated it 5 plus stars. Thank you Zello. Rich M. This app is outstanding the work Zello is for any business that needs the old Nextel. Now they added Zello +channels Its the best. Rich This last update the Zello is locking up some of the time you have to get out of the app and restart it. Please fix. This app works great if your having problems think what am I doing wrong the app works great, most of the time its operator error. Use this for work on a 6th gen iPod touch. Disconnects all the time even after 3.12 update. Also transmissions are garbled half the time and indecipherable. Can be responding to a call while holding button down and all of a sudden app stops transmitting your call like you let go of button. Can also get a call, try to respond, and then have Zello completely disconnect. Bluetooth headset and push to talk button (Coda Click) seem to disconnect randomly as well. All in all this app is a good idea but poorly executed. Maybe its better on a device with a cellular data connection? Id assume that only fixes the network connection issues though. UPDATE: Ive had to switch over to using this app on my personal cell phone now with a data connection to get any sort of reliability from this app. At this point Im 100% certain it should not be used in professional/commercial environments. Communication in my line of work is too important to base off some shoddy app instead of purpose built radios. Maybe this app is great to call your kids for dinner, but for my use its 1 star all the way. Update 2: Still a garbage app. It now BURNS through my battery life like a wild fire. People who rate this higher are using it for minimal conversation. It also completely highjacks the volume controls on the phone. It also reduces the audio quality of music you play. Once again I repeat this app should not be used in a professional environment where constant communication is important. I would say its my employers fault for picking this app to use but Zello markets a "@work" version which is supposed to be pro.

iPhone 6s user and having consistent issues with being signed out and freezing up. Hoping for an update or issues how to solve the bug

Zello is a nice app that really works like a two way radio, transmission and sound quality is quite good, but unfortunately it drains the battery rapidly. Thats why I had to say good bye to the app.

Zello was awesome but all of a sudden I wasnt receiving alerts and missing many calls. Many updates done but still no alerts? Come on Zello get it back online!!

App works well but has a few bugs. For example alerts dont work. Also very limited multi platform support means you cant use it on a iPad or Mac. That said with a little R&D this could end up being a true killer app!

Bring back the ptt button change on the iPhone. Would be nice to use the volume buttons!!

How much time you create apps for Ipad ?? Tks
